That's what got this whole thing started. The PCI Input Device "found new hardware" message popped up on me when I signed on. But is doesnt work, and I cannot find a good driver from Sony website. So I download a DVD driver from LG website. The system dose not recognize my DVD machine. What is wrong with the DVD/CD Rom drive I use Window 10 Edge. I have done absolutely nothing to this PC, nor have I gotten any error messages or alerts. The DVD/CD Rom driver is typically the cdrom.sys which is included in Windows 10. When PC is re-booted it detects the hardware, but there are no drivers for either and I get the PCI Input Device message as well.ĬD-ROM will not read a disc, and of course the CD-RW will not work as well. I even went through other download sites and couldn't get any help.
